Being a part of CWA has given Mary Ann a voice in her job and also security due to the fact that she will be treated with respect and dignity by her employer as a direct result of Union membership. As an Officer she has been given the opportunity to better herself even further. She has learned much about the history of Unions, labor laws and how to deal with people; allowing her to use this knowledge in her everyday dealings with individuals. In Mary Ann's opinion the best part of CWA are the members. She has met people from other geological areas that have become very close friends. CWA is a family to Mary Ann and she feels that together we all have a common goal that we are working very hard to achieve.
In her spare time, her hobbies are her three teenage daughters that keep her very busy. She enjoys golf, and high school or college sports. During the fall season Mary Ann can be found at high school football games and she occupies the winter season by attending high school basketball games; a sport that her daughters participate in.
