Jim has been a member for 5 years. He currently serves the Local as Secretary/ Treasurer. Previously Jim served on the Cingular Bargaining Committee. He works for Cingular as a Wireless Technician III.

During his tenure with Cingular, Jim has worked both with and without Union representation. While without representation (6 years), the Company made all the decisions seeking no input from employees. The difference noticed when Union representation began is that all employees had a voice to express concerns and a contract that the Company is obligated to comply with.

Jim's family consists of his wife Nancy, and 2 children (Brock and Bailey). Outside interests include coaching Little League baseball and basketball. He also enjoys NASCAR racing, which he refers to as a "time wasting activity".
